I usually don't write reviews. My Marble floors needed help. It had wax build up and needed stripping and brought back to life. Arthur a very nice and professional person. Marblelife of San Antonio did an awesome job on our ceramic tile floor - after my husband attempted to do the work himself, and ended up with a horrible mess! Marblelife stripped off the old finish(es), cleaned, & sealed the floor, resulting in a lovely, shiny, floor that looked like new. Sean made time for us right away, explained the entire process, & got started immediately. Carlos & Tony worked diligently for two days to accomplish everything - clearly taking pride in their work & providing excellent results! They were a pleasure to work with & we highly recommend them!
Superb workmanship and excellent service! We have a 20-yr old travertine bathroom and shower that had never been professionally cleaned before. Bob and his team were able to clean/sand away etching and stains from the counter and shower entry and deep clean the shower, removing soap scum and mildew. It looks as good as it did 20 years ago! Bob also cleaned and sealed our granite kitchen counter. We had a sink that was installed without proper supports and we have dealt with leaks along the rim for years. Because Bob has experience with stone installation, he was able to reinstall the sink with proper supports - it has never been more secure. Throughout the process, Bob consults you to make sure you are happy with what they are doing and will adjust as needed. We couldn't be happier with the service and will use Bob on a regular basis for deep cleaning and resealing.

Seal to Enhance Stain Resistance: Marble is naturally porous and can absorb spilled liquids, leading to staining unless sealed. Typical silicone seals can be removed if exposed to acidic materials, such as vinegar or spills. It’s advisable to re-seal every other year in residential environments and more frequently in bars or hotels. Sealing is much less costly than replacing a stained surface.
Acid-Etching: Marble can be dissolved by acids. Acidic cleaners like vinegar or citrus-scented products can dull surfaces by pitting them. Avoid acidic cleaners altogether. Not always. Sometimes, issues arise from build-up caused by wax-containing cleaners, often marketed as “clean-and-shine” or “Clean-and-seal” products or polishes.
These products can leave behind waxes or oil, resulting in a dull, dingy look over time. In such cases, MARBLELIFE recommends professional cleaning to remove the build-up and free the surface so you can see its natural beauty.
We recommend you use a professional stone craftsman to ensure that these materials are removed with a surface and seal safe method. Otherwise, one might create a new issue in trying to resolve the current.
Once the surface is back under control and free of build-up, MARBLELIFE can recommend care processes and products that will allow a homeowner to maintain the surface.
A high traffic floor building will require periodic maintenance. But done properly this is much more cost effective than periodic restoration.
For chips, cracks, or damage from acidic cleaners or spills, no cleaner can repair the damage. Restoration is needed to return the surface to its original, beautiful condition.
